Stone Empire Marketing Sdn. Bhd. was proud to sponsor RÉKA Converge 2026: From Concept to Craft, a hands-on furniture workshop organised by MIID and hosted at the Stone Empire showroom in Rawang.
The workshop brought together the creative process of wood and stone craftsmanship, allowing participants to explore how raw materials can be transformed into functional furniture pieces. Through this hands-on session, participants experienced the journey from design concept to material selection, crafting, and final creation.
As a stone specialist, Stone Empire supported the event by providing a platform for designers, makers, and industry professionals to engage with stone materials in a practical and creative way. The workshop highlighted the relationship between traditional handcraft, modern design thinking, and material exploration.
The event was also part of a professional learning initiative, with LAM CPD points applied for, supporting continuous development within the architecture and design community.
